Youmin Yap

Trainer

Singapore

Youmin is a certified forest therapy guide with the ANFT. As one of the pioneer certified guide in Singapore and the Southeast Asia, she has been guiding regularly since 2017 and has extensive experience in both in-person as well as remote/online/virtual sessions. She is passionate about sharing nature connections and deep restorative rest for well-being, especially for stressed out and disconnected city dwellers. She has extensive guiding experience from working across various projects – from mental health support for youths and community groups, to staff well-being and support for various schools and corporations/MNCs, to bespoke events for brands, to personalised group and 1:1 wellness sessions, to talks for the general public. She has also guided and taught at both local and overseas retreats and conferences including in Finland, the Philippines, Thailand and the US.

Having trailblazed this heart-work of forest therapy in Singapore and Southeast Asia, Youmin is humbled and delighted to now share this with more people by stepping into the role of a trainer. She brings her heart and all her experience from her guiding to support all who are willing to step onto this life-changing and relational journey.

Youmin is also trained and certified in yoga nidra, mindfulness and is also an ANFT Certified Trail Consultant. She earned her BSc. Science (Honours) and Master of Science (Life Sciences) with the National University of Singapore, and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Education.
